After last night’s reception kickoff, today marks the start of two full tracks of instruction—Introductory and Advanced—covering pump hydraulics, selection, system design, troubleshooting, NPSH, energy efficiency, and more.

Controlled Precision with Mazak 5-Axis Machinery
Cornell Utilizes Mazak 5-axis machines in our in our advanced CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining operations. Designed to handle highly complex parts in fewer setups compared to traditional 3-axis machines, the machine allows us to produce high quality parts, faster, and in less floor space than we used to occupy with two 3-axis machines doing the same job. With reduced tool changes, elimination of secondary operations, and minimizing manual handling, we are making better products for end-users.

At Cornell Pump, we occasionally receive calls that reach back more than 70 years. A customer might need a wear ring or gasket for a pump they’ve been using since the Eisenhower administration.
