How to Paint a Pump

How much paint goes on a pump? Cornell Pump’s painter Steve Janz (shown in the paint booth below) says most pumps get about 32oz (about a liter) of paint. That’s on a typical 6” or 8” pump.  Depending on priming and size of pump, the amount can be as high as two gallons (~7.5 liters) on pump.

Cornell is working hard today before the Christmas holiday. Steve will be busy in the paint booth get pumps out for customers. Whether you want it in Rain-0-Flo Blue, Black, Yellow, White, or another color, or fast and efficient painters will get it set for you.
