What National Manufacturing Day Represents
National Manufacturing Day is observed on the first Friday in October. It was founded in 2012 to highlight modern manufacturing, inspire the next generation of makers, and demonstrate the vital role the sector plays in the economy. Manufacturing in the U.S. employs over 12 million people and contributes more than $2.9 trillion annually to the nation’s GDP.
Built in the USA
For nearly 80 years, Cornell has manufactured pumps with precision and care at our Clackamas, Oregon facility–plus now in our Vancouver, Washington and Rockhill, South Carolina facilities. Every pump reflects our commitment to quality craftsmanship, innovation, and long-term reliability.
Supporting Communities and Industries
By keeping our design and assembly in the USA, we support local jobs, strengthen supply chains, and provide customers with pumps they can trust for agriculture, municipal, industrial, rental, mining, and more.
A Legacy of Excellence
Cornell Pump’s tradition of American manufacturing continues to shape our future. We remain dedicated to delivering dependable products that meet the highest standards of performance while supporting the industries that keep our communities moving.
