Day Two—Factory Tour! Hands On Learning at Cornell Pump School 2025

After a fantastic evening at the Portland Art Museum, where attendees enjoyed dinner, conversation, and a beautiful setting in the heart of the city, Pump School 2025 is back in full swing today.

Day Two is all about hands-on experience. Attendees are touring Cornell’s factory, seeing pumps built and tested up close, and participating in assembly and test lab training. Others are diving deeper into advanced classroom sessions—covering topics like metallurgy, mechanical seals, VFDs and controls, and lifecycle cost analysis.

This unique combination of classroom learning and real-world demonstrations gives participants a complete picture of pump design, operation, and maintenance—direct from the people who engineer and manufacture them every day.

We’re proud to share our expertise and facilities with such an engaged group of professionals. Thank you to everyone who’s making Pump School 2025 such a success!
