Cornell Pump School 2025 Kicks Off Tonight!

Pump professionals are gathering tonight at the reception in Portland, marking the exciting beginning of Cornell Pump School 2025! A heartfelt welcome to all attendees and their spouses joining us at the Benson Hotel.

Over the next two days, participants will dive deep into both foundational and advanced pump training—covering everything from basic hydraulics, pump selection (including NPSHA/R), system design, troubleshooting, pump curves, mechanical seals, VFDs & controls, corrosion/metallurgy, energy efficiency, and lifecycle cost analysis

Day 1 (Tuesday, September 9) will feature two learning tracks—introductory and advanced—with engaging sessions led by top industry experts. These sessions promise eight hours of focused instruction+, complete with presentations on printed collateral, catered lunch, and CEU credits.

On Wednesday, September 10, Day 2 brings hands-on learning with immersive factory tours, assembly training, and test lab training. Attendees may choose to either return to classroom sessions or continue with advanced onsite training before wrapping up the day.

Special thanks to the Benson Hotel for hosting our attendees at a great group rate, and to London Grill for hosting this evening’s reception from 6–9 p.m.

We’re excited for the knowledge, connections, and experiences ahead! To those joining us, get ready for two full days of expert instruction, face-to-face networking, live demos, and deep dives into the latest in pump technology.
