Cornell Utilizes Mazak 5-axis machines in our in our advanced CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining operations. Designed to handle highly complex parts in fewer setups compared to traditional 3-axis machines, the machine allows us to produce high quality parts, faster, and in less floor space than we used to occupy with two 3-axis machines doing the same job. With reduced tool changes, elimination of secondary operations, and minimizing manual handling, we are making better products for end-users.
